Wendy’s kid’s meals have included these awesome

building sets. We ate quite a few burgers and fries so Lauren

could collect several packages to be able to construct a

variety of interesting things!

Flower Girl

Lauren will be the flower girl in Krista Osteen’s wedding this Saturday.

Krista is daughter of Tracy and Scott, whom we’ve known since high school.

(She is the blonde haired ‘lady’ standing behind Lauren.)

When we  visited the bridal shop to try on dresses, Lauren was at first very

reserved and nervous; however, once she caught sight of herself in the

huge mirror and realized the dresses were good for twirling, she was

in her element.

Miss March

Lauren’s Kindergarten class joined with two other classes to present a program

about the seasons. The children sang songs, recited poems and dressed up to represent the

twelve months of the year. Lauren was chosen to read a solo poem that described March,

hence the nickname ‘Miss March.’ At the end of the show, Lauren was excited to receive  not

just one but two bouquets of flowers.

Scrabble

 

 

During Papa Dan and Grandma Devanie’s last visit to Florida, Lauren learned

to play Scrabble.

Shaw teamed up with Lauren to help her figure out words she could spell

when combining her own tiles with the tiles already on the board.
